Whats is LED Mask?

LED Mask uses colour wavelengths of visible light that stimulate specific responses in the skin. Its affects on the skin are anti-ageing, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and it promotes healing.

The device has a total of 360 LED bulbs (120 blue, 120 red, 120 near-infrared) which send wavelengths deep below the skin's surface.

• LED light therapy uses light energy at different wavelengths to make improvements in skin health.
• The Dermalux Flex MD offers red light (at 633 nm) to prompt rejuvenation in the skin (more collagen, better hydration, less inflammation).

Is LED Mask Safe?

Yes, it is safe and anyone can have this treatment unless you have a condition that makes you light sensitive.

Can I see results straight away?

Following a Dermalux treatment, there are some immediate visible changes in the skin but most changes occur naturally over a series of treatments. Results may continue to improve up to 4-6 weeks after a course as LED Phototherapy continues to stimulate the natural cellular processes to rejuvenate and improve the quality of the skin.

Pre-Treat with Flex MD 

Using Dermalux to prepare and condition the skin pre-treatment has been shown to build strength and immunity of the skin and also ensure that cells are fuelled with a ready supply of energy (ATP) to enable the regeneration process to be accelerated.  

For optimum results, we advise 4 Flex MD treatments; 2 sessions per week prior to an invasive procedure to enhance overall treatment results and reduce post procedure downtime. 

Dermalux Flex MD is recommended in 3 ways: 

• Activate -  Intensive skin activation programme. 12 treatments recommended 2 to 3 times per week for optimum results. Once completed recommend regular maintenance treatments. 
• Boost -  Individual treatments or short booster course of 3 sessions to revitalise and restore vitality or calm irritation. Recommend as a boost before a special event. 
• Combine -  integrated or post treatment application to enhance and accelerate results.
